Extracurricular Activities & Events

At Darul Ilm, we believe a child's Islamic development extends beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, we aim to provide activities, workshops and social opportunities that make learning enjoyable, strengthen Islamic identity and help our students build positive relationships with one another.

Workshops & Special Events:

Throughout the year, we organise special workshops that bring important Islamic topics to life through activities, discussions, stories and interactive learning.

Previous workshops have included our Ramadan Workshop and Walking in the Path of Ibrahim (AS) Workshop, giving children an opportunity to explore these important themes in a memorable and engaging way.

Du'a Club:

Our Du'a Club helps children learn and understand important daily Du'as while encouraging them to make the remembrance of Allah a natural part of their everyday lives.

Football & Islamic Reminders

Our weekly football activities combine sport, friendship and Islamic reminders. Children can enjoy playing together while learning about good character, teamwork and Islamic values in a relaxed environment outside the classroom.

Family Picnics & Social Gatherings:

We also organise family picnics and social gatherings, providing opportunities for students, parents and families to connect and strengthen relationships within the Darul Ilm community.

More than learning:

Through these activities, we hope our students develop friendships, confidence, positive memories and a stronger sense of belonging to their Muslim community.

We want Darul Ilm to be more than somewhere children come to study — we want it to be a place they enjoy being part of.
