Qur'an Memorisation Programme
Learning Journey
Alongside our reading curriculum, Darul Ilm is developing a dedicated Qur'an Memorisation Programme for students wishing to strengthen their connection with the Qur'an through memorisation.

We believe that strong memorisation is built upon strong reading. For this reason, students are first encouraged to develop secure reading skills and sound Tajweed before progressing through a structured memorisation pathway.

The programme focuses on:
Accurate memorisation with correct Tajweed.
Strong long-term retention through regular revision.
Confident recitation from memory.
Developing consistency, discipline and love for the Qur'an.
Students are supported through a balanced approach that combines new memorisation with continual revision, ensuring that previously memorised passages remain secure.

As the programme develops, students will have the opportunity to memorise increasing portions of the Qur'an under the guidance of experienced teachers in a structured and supportive environment.

We pray that every child who graduates from Darul Ilm leaves with a deep love for the Qur'an, the confidence to read it beautifully, and the motivation to continue reciting, memorising and living by its guidance for the rest of their life.
